Initially, I put links on my intro page but that quickly has become cumbersome and, quite honestly, freaky. Hence the development of this page as an addendum to my site.
Excuse my verbosity but the Taliban and Osama bin Laddin will go down in history, regardless of the outcome of this "war on terrorism", as having met and conquered the atrocities of Hitler and Stalin.

Simple Soldier is a poem which reflects on a soldier's experiences on
the battlefields of France in WW I, his recuperation in the infirmary after
being wounded, the failure of the nation to adequately support its debt
to its veterans in the ’20s & ’30s, the deep feelings of sending
their sons to battle in WW II and his hopes and aspirations for the future.
The poet-soldier only had an 8th grade education and is a cousin
of this site's webmaster.
